ISSUES - The plaintiff sued for the failure to properly place a syndesmotic screw during surgery to repair an ankle and leg fracture. Mr. Hubbard and Ms. Ray were able to use technology to display xrays to the jury so that experts could measure the syndesmotic space in the lower extremity. After a five day jury trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the orthopaedic surgeon.
